Giromax offers full roof recoat system with Delcote Architectural Coating and metal wall cladding refurbishments with their Girocote® system. Giromax products offers protection against cut edge corrosion, roof coating failure, profile metal coating failure, gutter and roofline dilapidation. Our specialist team liaise with clients, undertake thorough surveys to evaluate what works require to be undertaken. This allows us to formulate a cost effective solution, whilst ensuring the level of service, workmanship and longevity are not compromised.

The Problem : Aged GRP rooflights can pose a range of problems when looking for a suitable measure to keep it maintained. When untreated for long periods, the exterior gel coat of the roof can deteriorate to such a degree that the rooflights are exposed and the substrate breaking away. This will make the sheet brittle, easily damaged or perforated and this will ultimately encourage leaks and moss growth. Most significantly, it can seriously compromise your building’s security.

The Solution : As an approved Giromax installer, we use their product, Delglaze that is a high performance, high build, single component moisture curing aliphatic polyurethane coating. It provides a clear, tough membrane principally for the re-coating and sealing of aged and weathered GRP rooflights. In addition if the Rooflights are dilapidated beyond repair Tritec offer replacement roof-lights matching to existing roof profiles.

The Problem: When it is well maintained, Profiled Metal can have a long serviceable life. If the incorrect procedure and protocols are taken, with the repaint guidelines being neglected, then it is highly likely that you will have early replacement. If you are experiencing trouble with your profiled metal, the solution is not to place more sheets over the affected metal. In most cases, the sheets being can be poorer quality and this could further lead to problems of weight, condensations, leaks, and meeting current building regulations. If you choose the wrong re-coating material, it can lead to expensive repainting every 10 years.

The Solution : Tritec are experts in the application of coatings to profile metal roofing, and we are Giromax approved installer. We use their product, Delcote, which is a silicone coating that offers protection equal to, or better than the original. It is applied as a complete system on roofing that incorporates Seamsil, the patented treatment developed to solve cut edge corrosion.

Steel, Metal Wall Cladding Refurbishment & Coating

Without the right treatment, the lifespan of your cladding can be significantly affected and you will be required to replace these sheets far earlier than expected. Additionally, using the wrong re-coating material will require expensive repainting within 10 years.

Solution: Tritec have a wealth of experience in the application of Girocote, which is a Giromax product. Girocote is a mid-sheen low odour, emissions compliant coating designed for spray or brush application over existing PVC and PVDF coated steel, which provides aesthetically pleasing and enhanced protection for the refurbishment and redecoration of tired profiled metal wall cladding panels. It is usually applied in two coats, without the need to prime, and is suitable for application to most common building components, including mild steel, coated sheets, and galvanised steel.
