About the Business
Davis Roofing Ltd was formed in 1979, by Richard Davis. The company started trading from an office and yard in West Street, Bedminster, flat roofing was the main trade. Davis roofing soon expanded into the tiled roofing market taking on domestic and commercial work. Davis Roofing has always been a pro-active company and as new roofing products were developed and came on to the market, expansion was inevitable.
The first move of premise was in 1994 to Church Road, Bishopsworth, and with the increase in office and yard size, the company once more expanded. A full time surveyor was employed, extra office staff were needed and the work force increased to twenty. Skilled tradesman in all aspects of roofing were now required. These years saw Davis Roofing establish themselves as one of the larger roof companies in Bristol, working for local authorities, government offices, universities, schools, health trust and housing associations.
